SXSW with an NFT Festival
In an announcement today highlighting merchandise offerings at South By Southwest (SXSW) 2022, the Austin, TX festival announced that there will be hats, t-shirts, tote bags, posters and, of course, NFTs. The festival will be releasing their very own PFP character, titled “SXSCritter,” according to today’s post, next week on March 11.
Latest Mint: CVS Next On The Block
Brands have been flocking to NFTs for about a year now, and the latest non-traditional brand to do so is apparently healthcare retailer CVS Health. A trademark filing from late February was revealed today, showing details of the brand seeking to trademark its logo for use in virtual goods, NFTs, online store, and more.

The “fresh mint” grip
It’s not the most recent release of the Mint, but…despite the high hopes around Pixelmon, it seems the fruits of labor are only to be found in “Kevin” memes. Unfortunate. As crypto detective pioneer @zachxbt notes, the Pixelmon team seems to be securing the bag. The social accounts of the Pixelmon team still insist that they complete the project.
