Rumor has spread that Certik has downgraded SHIB’s security rating
Major SHIB-themed account @ShibBPP tweeted this major blockchain security platform Certik downgraded SHIB from the AAA list of cryptos where it used to be.
Now, the leading meme digital currency has fallen to the 51st ranked security score position on their scale.
The SHIB community is worried that there haven’t been any updates to Shibarium lately and hope they start arriving soon. Despite Kusama’s recent message on Telegram, promising “many updates”, there have been none so far.

SHIB’s security score degraded
Currently, the second largest Shiba Inu meme piece’s safety score sits at position 51 on Certik. It’s already the second page on the list and it’s rated AA rather than AAA, which it had before.
According to a detailed chart by Certik earlier this month, SHIB has even dropped lower to 57th place. But now he’s back at the 51st. The coin’s exact security score is now 93.67. Its Social Sentiment Index is 79 out of 100 (labeled as “mostly positive”), and the Market Sentiment Index is 53 out of 100 (marked by the platform as “Neutral”).
Shiba Inu has demonstrated an increase in his number of holders. Recently, the total number of holders increased to 2,387,785, adding 673 holders.
Shytoshi promises “many updates”
As covered by U.Today earlier this month, mysterious Shiba Inu developer chief Shytoshi Kusama told the Shibarium Tech Telegram chat room that he and his team are very excited about the future of SHIB. and its Layer 2 network and promised that there will be many updates as soon as they “move fast on all fronts, okay”.
Prior to this, one of the chat admins also said that there are a lot of things to come, but he was unable to reveal the details and recommended the community to wait for official announcements.
Meanwhile, the community keeps asking Shytoshi in the chatroom “wen Shibarium?” (i.e., when will the mainnet launch that originally promised to take off in May) and “wen updates?”
Overall, Shytoshi recently claimed that his comments about the Shibarium mainnet launch in May were taken out of context, and now he and his team are focused on work but not specific dates.
