Input Output announced some new partnerships during Cardano Summit 2021
American telecom company Dish Network has struck a deal with developer Cardano Input Output to build blockchain services.
Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, claims that the underlying commercial structure of the communications space is “too petrified”. The crypto tycoon believes that blockchain can revolutionize communication, and he expects it to become the “virtual paradigm” of the communications space.
Hoskinson praised Dish for being a leader in his industry, describing the partnership as “extremely exciting” and “extremely challenging” at the same time.
Dish’s journey does not start with Cardano. The Fortune 250 company, which reported annual revenue of $15.49 billion last year, began accepting Bitcoin in 2014. In August 2018, it also added support for Bitcoin Cash.
Charlie Ergin, co-founder of the leading satellite TV provider, said he was looking at leveraging blockchain to improve the company’s business.
Hoskinson added that the partnership requires an “enormous” amount of work:
On average, when compared to where the industry is, I think, in the end, this collaboration will be innovative, secure, and relevant to clients and regulators in its industry.

As reported by U.Today, Input Output also announced that it has partnered with Chainlink to use oracle services at Cardano Summit 2021.
Furthermore, Strait Brands, an Australian-based luxury spirits company, will use Input Output Atala SCAN’s authentication solution to manage its supply chain.
In early July, the Cardano Foundation revealed that it intends to join three Fortune 500 companies by 2024.
