Montenegro has approved the bail conditions offered by Do Kwon, who was charged with the criminal offense of falsifying documents under Montenegrin law.
According to the official document Released by local authorities on May 12, the court accepted Kwon and Chang-joon’s proposed bail offer of 400,000 euros ($436,000) each, as well as their house arrest.
According to the documents, if the house arrest is jeopardized, the bond will be placed in a “special section” of the court’s operating budget. In addition, the notice indicates that it will be necessary to verify the authenticity of travel documents and identity cards, which have been “allegedly” issued by the competent authorities of Belgium.
This update comes just a day after Kwon’s lawyers filed their request for such conditions with the Montenegrin authorities.
