XRP/USD – XRP pays over $1.
Main levels of support: $1.00, $0.9, $0.875.
Key resistance levels: $1.10, $1.25, $1.30.
Last week, XRP traded within a range between $1.00 and the $0.875 support (0.618 Fib). It rebounded from the support level on Wednesday, allowing it to rise again above $1.00 on Friday.
Unfortunately, the cryptocurrency was unable to break the resistance at $1.10 (the 50-day moving average) over the weekend and has since fallen to $1.05, where it is currently trading. A break above $1.10 (the 50-day moving average) should certainly pave the way for a rebound back towards the September highs at $1.40.
XRP-USD Short Term Price Forecast
Looking ahead, the first resistance is at $1.10 (the 50-day moving average). This is followed by $1.25, $1.30, $1.40 and $1.50 (bearish 0.786 Fib).
On the flip side, first support is at $1.00 (20-day moving average). This is followed by $0.9 (100-day moving average), $0.875 (0.618 Fib), and $0.8282 (2020 high).
The RSI is marginally above its midline, indicating that buyers are fighting to control the market’s momentum.
XRP/BTC – Bulls maintain the support of the 200-day moving average.
Main levels of support: 2100 Sabbath, 2075 BC, 2000 Sabbaths.
Key resistance levels: 2225 Saturday, 2300 Saturday, 2367 Saturday.
Against BTC, XRP is fighting to hold the 200-day moving average support at around 2,150 SAT. The cryptocurrency dropped as low as 2100 SAT last week, but the 100-day moving average is preventing it from sliding lower.
The coin was struck between 2100 SAT and 2300 SAT and should break this range to determine the next direction for the market.
XRP-BTC Price Prediction in the Short Term
Looking ahead, first resistance lies at 2225 SAT (20-day moving average). This is followed by 2300 SAT, 2367 SAT (50-day moving average, bearish .382 Fib), 2460 SAT (bearish 0.5 Fib), and 2560 SAT (bearish 0.618 Fib).
On the flip side, first support is at 2100 sat (100-day moving average). This is followed by the 2075 SAT (.618 Fib), the 2000 SAT, and the 1860 SAT (.786 Fib).
The RSI remains below its mid-line as the bears are controlling the market’s momentum.
