The victories have been linked during BiG Africa Summit 2023 with a very successful second day! Attendees rocked their steaming cups of coffee and anticipation filled the air, signaling the start of an exhilarating day of presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Lois Brightgeneral manager of International Initiation and the event chair warmly welcomed sponsors, delegates and speakers, setting the tone for a day full of fresh and innovative ideas.

The Senior Director of Business Development for the KwaZulu-Natal Gaming and Betting Chart received an enthusiastic response from attendees when he presented an overview of the Black Gaming Industry Program; how the program has the potential to drive exceptional business growth in South Africa. Attendees were pleasantly surprised to learn about funding opportunities for local gaming businesses at KwaZulu Natal.
One of the highlights of the day included a panel of powerhouse women in South African iGaming discussing the hidden talent of women in the gaming industry. The panel touched on the importance of diversity in the industry, as well as the business opportunities that exist to attract more female players.
Tea breaks and a midday lunch break allowed attendees to not only enjoy the drinks and food on offer, but also to continue exploring the exhibition floor and interacting with speakers and delegates. The business cards exchanged highlighted the important links and collaborations that the BiG Africa Summit 2023 made possible. The success of the event was evident as attendees left with a wealth of knowledge and a better understanding of what the future held for the African iGaming industry.

After closing remarks, attendees were treated to an incredible performance by traditional Zulu dancers. The spectacular performance was fitting as a closing segment of the spectacular 2-day Summit and a celebration of Africa’s rich culture and heritage. Attendees filled the room for the last time for the highly anticipated BiG 5 Rewards where the winners were announced in a grand ceremony worthy of African iGaming innovation.
