and CFD broker regulated in Malaysia by the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA), has appointed S. Mohammed Jabri, the former Sales Manager of Noor Capital, as Managing Director. Jabri’s role is based in the United Arab Emirates.
TradeUltra announced Jabri’s announcement on Monday in a statement posted on LinkedIn. However, his LinkedIn profile shows he took on the role in January.
Since beginning his career in June 1997, Jabir has only worked for two companies before joining TradeUltra. He brings over two and a half decades of experience to his new role.
At Noor Capital, an investment brokerage firm licensed by the United Arab Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority, Jabri served as Head of Sales for almost six years between April 2017 and January 2023.
Jabri spent his longest career stint at Century Financial Brokers, a financial services provider headquartered in Dubai, where he spent nearly two decades. He joined the company in June 1997 as Head of the Trading Room and held this position for over 16 years. He then worked as a Business Relationship Manager within the company between January 2013 and February 2015.
“During his long stint in the industry, Mr. Jabri has been instrumental in setting up the technical, operational and commercial aspects of many companies in the financial brokerage industry and setting these companies on a growth trajectory. “, TradeUltra wrote in the press release.
New leadership appointments this week
Although the week has only just begun, a number of senior executives have announced the start of new roles at various companies. Gary Clifford-Newman, the former Prime Services Sales Director at Sova Capital, announced on Monday that he has joined StoneX Group as Senior Vice President of Prime Services Sales.
Other executives also made similar announcements: Andreas Cifuentes has joined Edgewater as the new global head of Liquidity
