Laoura Salveta, a well-known marketer in the forex and contracts for differences (CFD) space, has joined crypto-focused media outlet Cointelegraph as a marketing advisor. Finance Magnates learned about their new role at the Finance Magnates Summit in London (FMLS: 23).
Salveta will also participate in a panel discussion at FMLS:23 to share his ideas on how brokers should market in this day and age.
Speaking to Finance Magnates, Salveta also revealed that she is working on “an exciting new project”, which will be revealed in the future. Interestingly, she also added Cointelegraph’s illustrated profile pictures to her LinkedIn profile.
Salveta is one of many participants in the ongoing FMLS:23. Besides networking and initiating and closing business deals, many new industry leaders publicly reveal their new roles at the event.
A marketing expert
Salveta joined Cointelegraph after spending nine months at Red Acre, which controls prop trading platform FundedPro, as chief marketing officer. According to her LinkedIn profile, she left this company last August.
Prior to Red Acre, she spent six months at BridgerPay as a marketing manager. She also made a name for herself in the FX and CFD industry as Marketing Director and Marketing Director at 120ADVERTISING, a boutique marketing agency based in Cyprus working with financial services companies, where she spent over five years.
Her other significant roles include CMO at FXPRIMUS, a foreign exchange and CFD broker, where she worked between April 2015 and November 2016. She entered the financial services industry in late 2011 as head of marketing communications at Easy Forex. She then joined MPF Global Markets as Global Market Manager.
She started her career in 2022 and worked in marketing for years before moving into the financial services industry.
