Snapshot of XRP balances airdrop was taken on December 12, 2020 at ~00:00 (UTC). Client accounts (cash and margin) that held XRP at that time are now credited with 0.1511 SGB for every 1 XRP held on the platform.
Please note that customers residing in Japan are not eligible for this airdrop.
About leveraged positions
If you held a long cash position with leverage thanks to the snapshot, you will be credited with an SGB balance corresponding to this position.
If you held a short cash position with leverage thanks to the snapshot, we have waived any negative SGB balance that may have arisen.
Financing and negotiation
When funding is enabled, you can add SGB to your Kraken account by going to Fundingselecting the asset and pressing To pay. This blog will be updated when funding and trading are enabled.

What is the songbird?
Songbird is Flare’s Canarian network. Songbird is intended to serve as an experimental blockchain where developers can test their projects and governance mechanisms before deploying them to Flare. The SGB token serves as the base currency of the network and can be used in protocol governance.
