Raj Sitlani and Jonathan Brewer, the co-founders of iS Prime, an institutional provider of multi-asset brokerage and execution services, have decided to say goodbye to the business after eight years.
The move comes two weeks after ISAM Capital Markets rebranded to iSAM Securities. The founders launched iSPrime in 2014 in partnership with iSAM, a systematic hedge fund manager.
Until their departure, Sitlani was the managing director of iSAM Securities while Brewer was the chief commercial officer. In a statement shared with finance tycoonsthe co-founder noted that they had achieved their goal of building a leading company.
“Raj and I are ready to focus on the next chapters of our lives. Now is the time for the very talented team at iSAM to move the business forward, and we wish them all well,” Brewer said in the release.
Speaking on their decision to leave, Roy Sher, Managing Director of iSAM, praised the founder for his contribution to the growth of the company and the team which now has more than 50 employees. Sher, however, added that “it’s business as usual.”
“We will increase our investments in our technology and people, putting our customers first as we move the business forward to maintain our market-leading position,” Sher explained.
