Bitcoin enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond are expected to descend on Amsterdam in mid-October for the return of the the largest conference on the continent dedicated to Bitcoin. Organized by BTC Inc, organizer of the Bitcoin Conference, and Amsterdam Decentralized, the event will be held at Culture Village Westergas over two days, starting October 12. The conference will focus on hyperbitcoinization and building within the Bitcoin industry. Bitcoin Amsterdam aims to put the city on the map as Europe’s most innovative Bitcoin city.

The conference’s list of previous speakers included Alex Gladstein, Bert and Peter Slagter, Stella Assange and Adam Back.
Sebastiaan van Erne, who helps organize Bitcoin Amsterdam, said the goal is to attract 150,000 visitors to Amsterdam over the next five years. “With this conference, we are putting Amsterdam directly on the map as Europe’s most innovative Bitcoin city,” he said. “By partnering with BTC Inc., the company behind Bitcoin 2023, we gain access to world-renowned speakers. We have reached Bitcoin Amsterdam’s goal of 5,000 visits in the first year. even more and will have even more speakers from different disciplines.”
