Elon Musk once again trolls his cryptocurrency followers
Serial meme poster Elon Musk took to Twitter to share some of the worst advice you could possibly give to cryptocurrency investors.
In response to a moralizing tweet on risk management posted by Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus, Musk jokingly recommended that his followers do the exact opposite: believe everything they see on the internet and blame them. others.
– Everything on the Internet is true!
– Outsource responsibility!
– If you are able to do it, buy crypto!– Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 1, 2021
The not-so-good advice came after a questionable cryptocurrency inspired by the hit “Squid Game” series collapsed to zero earlier today. Its founders pulled off an obvious exit scam and fled with $ 2.1 million in victims’ money. Notably, the cryptocurrency received extensive media coverage from major mainstream media, including the BBC, before the implosion occurred.
Last week, as U.Today reported, the Centibillionaire urged cryptos not to bet their farm on coins, explaining that he only owns a few out of curiosity. Musk also distanced himself from the Shiba Inu mania, claiming that he did not own any SHIB tokens.
After relentlessly shilling Dogecoin in early 2021, Musk was later attacked by cryptocurrency holders after his price action turned south.
The original meme is still down 63% from its all-time high.
In October, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissioner Hester Peirce warned crypto buyers that celebrities who tout their favorite coins will not fire holders.
