NFTs are built on Secret Network, the first Layer 1 blockchain with default privacy for applications. SCRT Labs, the primary development company behind Secret Network, will support this NFT drop, which features some of the network’s revolutionary native access and privacy controls. The auctions will take place on OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT marketplace.
“I am delighted to present these exclusive scenes from PULP FICTION to fans,” said Tarantino. “The Secret Network and Secret NFTs offer a whole new world of connection between fans and artists and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”
Many Tarantino films have gone cult, but Pulp Fiction stands out with a $ 213.9 million hit made from a modest $ 10 million budget. The film is critically acclaimed, winning the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and seven Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. Tarantino also won the Oscar for Best Screenplay.
Why broadcast on Secret Network?
Each auction NFT contains “secret” content visible only to the owner of the NFT, a revolutionary and unique feature enabled by secret NFTs. The secret content itself is one of a kind, never been seen or heard of before, and will include: the first uncut handwritten scripts from “Pulp Fiction” and exclusive custom commentary from Tarantino, revealing secrets about the film and its creator.
The public metadata of the NFT – the “cover” of this exclusive content – is rare in itself: a unique work of art, never seen before and intended for the public.
NFT secret public and private access to content. To date, all NFTs that have been propagated on Ethereum and other popular public blockchain networks by default rely on metadata intended for the public.
In other words, the images featured in the NFT Collectors Portfolio are visible to everyone, with no choices available to the creator or owner. But NFT secrets are helping change that – allowing NFTs to contain both public and private metadata, as well as giving the owner a choice between publicly displaying ownership.
