The crypto exchange Bybit has unveiled the “2023 World Series of Trading (WSOT)”, the registration of which will begin on July 13.
The event is in its fourth edition and will feature a prize pool of up to $8 million in USDT. It also includes a live giveaway on August 24, giving traders the chance to win Rolex Explorers and Huracan Evo Spyder Lamborghinis.
Bybit’s Star Showdown for Elite Crypto Traders
According to the official press release, the general registration window is from July 24 to August 17, which will offer traders a chance to secure their place among the “elite” contenders across the globe. Bybit further added that the real action begins on August 7 when traders go head-to-head in a furnace of lightning-fast strategies and decisions.
Commenting on the development, Bybit CEO and co-founder Ben Zhou said:
“Get ready for the ultimate showcase of trading talent, strategy and sheer determination. This is the time when dreams are forged, boundaries are shattered and champions are crowned. So we call on all traders to participate or attending the World Series of Trading, where the best of the best meet and the world of crypto comes to life.
Bybit will make demo trading available to participants for the very first time to ensure that competitions become more accessible to beginners.
Influential traders and megastars such as The Moon, CryptoBanter, GINAREA and Cornix are expected to take part in this year’s WSOT.
Meanwhile, Bybit claimed that this event attracted approximately 117,000 merchants worldwide between 2020 and 2022, which generated a transaction volume of over $177 billion.

Over the past year, Bybit has been working on aggressively expanding its global footprint in different parts of the world.
Most recently, the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) of Dubai granted the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Preparatory License to the crypto exchange subsidiary, Bybit FinTech FZE.
Bybit previously said it was closely monitoring jurisdictions in the UK, Hong Kong and the European Union.
