Binance Academy, the education platform from the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, partners with Edukasyon.ph, the Philippines’ largest education technology platform, to introduce the Binance Scholar Scholarship Philippines Web 3.0. This program was launched to expand Binance’s educational efforts on Web 3.0 and to improve fundamental understanding of blockchain technology in the Philippines.
In order to participate in this program, applicants are responsible for posting a public video on their social media platforms, where they will share their views on Web 3.0 related topics and complete a application form by Edukasyon.ph. The application will be open until February 28.
On February 17, there will be an announcement on the Edukasyon.ph Facebook page, with the names of 300 participants who will have the opportunity to attend Binance Academy Web 3.0 Basic Courses worth 500,000 PHP and more. Besides the basic education requirements, some of the determining criteria that Binance Academy and Edukasyon.ph will consider to award the scholarship include the applicant’s financial need, academic merit, and family situation.
Once the scholarship is awarded, participants can take the courses which serve as entry-level educational programs focusing on Web 3.0 concepts which can be supplemented with advanced technical courses. Edukasyon.ph will host these courses online and in the local language of Filipino to ensure adequate access for all participants nationwide. With the help of live instructors, fellows will also have access to step-by-step instructions and the ability to ask questions during class.
The Philippines has seen tremendous growth and interest in the Web 3.0 ecosystem with a proven track record of adopting Web 3.0 and crypto over the years. Binance seeks to increase opportunities for wider inclusion of Filipinos in the Web 3.0 space through this scholarship program, which serves as a foundation for those wishing to explore careers in the Web 3.0 industry.
