Famous actor Johnny Depp is about to release a collection of non-fungible tokens featuring his friends and heroes in the artwork he has personally created. A collection of 11,111 non-fungible tokens called “Never Fear Truth” is about to be released. The NFTs feature portraits of friends and heroes created using Depp’s artwork that was animated to create the digital collectibles.
Johnny Depp reportedly said:
« I have always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who mean the most to me, such as my family, my friends and the people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.
The NFT Special Collection was announced yesterday to enthusiastic applause from the NFT community and collectors, with the request for access to the Discord channel even causing a short outage.

There are now over 20,001 members on the Discord channel, ready to hear more about this unique collection.
People featured in the collection include Depp, Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Hunter S. Thompson, Heath Ledger, Tim Burton, and Lily-Rose Depp. Also included in the NFT series are Depp’s late dog Mooh and a fictional character created by his son called Bunnyman.
The style of the work is a mix of pop and street art with carefully defined lines and vibrant colors. Giving insight into his creative process, Depp notes:
“I have always used art to express my feelings and reflect on those who mean the most to me, such as my family, my friends and the people I look up to.”
Each NFT comes with a high-resolution physical edition that can be redeemed once by the owner for the cost of production and delivery.
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from NFT sales will go to various charities supported by Depp and the heroes used in the collection.
The Never Seen Before website has been launched and NFTs will also be supported by the Rarible NFT Marketplace for secondary sales.
Due to demand, a raffle will be held to decide who can purchase the NFTs. The raffle closes on February 9, and the NFTs will go on sale to raffle winners on February 17, 2022.
10,000 NFTs will be available through public sale and 1,111 will be held by Depp to be awarded to fans and charities.
