2021 was the year they went to lunch

These new names had their charms
But Marathon and DMG wanted to block transactions
Only to feel the anger of user reactions
The flood of names seemed almost eternal
Bit Digital, BIT Mining, Digihost, CleanSpark, Mawson, Cathedra and Cipher Mining
Then there was the ban on China
Cause a rush to America, Russia and Kazakhstan
Only a few would have lingered
They had to stay hidden or they were gone
Bitmain, MicroBT and Canaan look pretty good
But in the future they might be on the line
Towards the end of the year there was a wave of new big names
Core Scientific, Stronghold and Greenidge with ambitious goals
There’s more to come in this vein
With private capital desperate to win
So many choices available now
Let strangers wonder how
I’m not so lonely anymore
Clamor and crowd at the proverbial door
2021 has been a sensational year
And now we sit down for some Christmas cheer

Wider dispersion of returns and positive bias
